Harrods Launches Toy Concierge

Just in time for holiday shopping

British department store Harrods (London) has launched a toy concierge service.

Shoppers will meet with the toy concierge team to discuss the child’s age, favorites and hobbies, reports the Retail Gazette. Shoppers will then meet a Harrods expert armed with a list based on the individual child at the entrance to the store’s Toy Kingdom.

Together, they will browse Harrods’ four toy rooms that offer more than 60,000 products.

“The service has no minimum spend, and we believe it is the perfect solution for busy shoppers looking to wrap up children’s-gifting dilemmas,” said Harrods Head of Furniture and Toy Buying Stewart Mancey.
