In its 2016 Sustainability Report, H&M (Stockholm) announced it will use 100 percent sustainable materials by 2030.

In striving to be more “climate positive,” the fast-fashion retailer will also work to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 2040, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

“We want to use our size and scale to lead the change towards circular and renewable fashion while making our company even more fair and equal,” said Anna Gedda, the retailer’s head of sustainability. “This is why we have developed a new strategy aiming to take our sustainability work to the next level.”
