Hollywood Feed Acquires PetPeople, Adding 76 Stores in 5 States

Hollywood Feed LLC, a natural and holistic pet food and product retailer, announced that it is acquiring PetPeople Holdings LLC.

With the deal, Hollywood Feed increases its store count to 180 from 104, adding five new states to its roster. It will now operate stores in 19 states, with a footprint spanning from Texas to Pennsylvania and from Michigan to Florida. The total number of employees post-acquisition is 1,225.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

This acquisition is the largest in the natural and holistic pet food and product retailer’s history, increasing the brand’s geographic footprint, store count, number of employees and, most importantly, its ability to reach more customers desiring natural and holistic products for their pets.
