Kenneth Walker, Founder, President, WalkerGroup/Designs (New York), passed away last week, according to industry insiders.

Ken founded WalkerGroup in 1970, which later became WalkerGroup/CNI when it was acquired by WPP Group in 1987. Ken worked with many major department stores, specialty retailers and mass merchants nationally and internationally. A graduate of Brown University, he earned his Masters in Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Ken also taught at MIT, the Architectural Association, Rhode Island School of Design and Columbia University Business School over the course of his career.
