KDM supports retailer’s high volume, store fixturing program needs

[CINCINNATI, OH – FEBRUARY 2016]  KDM P.O.P. Solutions Group has launched a new Import Procurement + Logistic Solutions service within its KDM Retail division to fill the need for its retail customer’s large volume store fixtures, permanent displays, and accessory components.

KDM has acquired the current inventory needs for several major chain store accounts including women’s fashion, toys, fashion accessories, home goods and sporting goods retailers across the U.S. KDM will operate its Logistics Solutions from a newly leased facility approximately five miles from its headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.

“KDM Retail specializes in making store design concepts a reality and now has in place the capabilities of making this happen whether custom manufactured in-house or overseas. We now have the ability to provide clients with a cost effective solution associated with importing (wire, metal and wood), inventory management and distribution of retail display fixtures and accessories,” said Jim Brownley, General Manager KDM Retail.

Jim Morgan, Operations Director, was hired to oversee the Import Logistics division. Jim comes to KDM with 25 years of experience running import operations and leveraging partnerships with multiple vendors overseas. “I am very excited to be a part of this new venture. KDM has such a great energy, and so many resources to meet customer’s needs within one entity. KDM is a breeding ground for new ideas and new processes to grow the business. This is a natural fit,” said Jim Morgan.

The Import Procurement + Logistics Solutions include fulfilling the need for fixtures, displays, and accessories including metal, tube and wire, brackets, hangers, shelving systems, apparel racks, merchandisers, jewelry displays, sign holders, gondola, pegboard and slat wall hardware to display merchandise in any type of retail setting.
