Koala Corp. is one of Forbes' Chosen

Makes Best Small Companies list for fifth straight year

Koala Corp., Denver-based provider of “family friendly solutions for business,” includingparental convenience and children's activity products, has been named to Forbes magazine's list of 200 Best Small Companies in America, for the fifth consecutive year. Koala jumped to a ranking of 39, up fromits 1999 ranking of 103. Koala is one of only seven companies currently on the list to secure a place for five or more years. In selecting companies for the list, Forbes requires sales ranging from $5 million to $350 million; five-year sales and earnings per share growth that average a minimum of 5 percent and net income of at least $1 million during the last four quarters. Forbes also considers the companies'operating cash flows and issues that might affect future growth. Founded in 1986, Koala Corp. develops and markets a wide variety of infant and child protection and activities products marketed under the “Koala Bear Care” brand name.
