Krispy Kreme Expands in N.C.

Charlotte, N.C. welcomes a new Krispy Kreme Doughnut Factory, located on North Sharon Amity Road. The approximately 2800-square-foot, free-standing location houses a drive-thru and is among several planning for the southern U.S.

“The opening of this Charlotte location marks another milestone in our long-term growth strategy for Krispy Kreme in the Charlotte Metro area,” says Cindy Bay, senior vp, of U.S. Franchises and Company Stores for Krispy Kreme.

Another location opened in Fort Mill, S.C., the Winston-Salem, N.C.-based company has plans for future shops in Rock Hill, SC, and another in the Charlotte area.
