Kroger Co. (Cincinnati) is launching a new banner that aims for a similar model to grocery competitor Whole Foods Market Inc. (Austin, Texas).

Columbus Business First reports the new stores will be called Main & Vine and will offer fresh, local produce, cooking and preparation advice and high-end prepared foods. It will also carry local craft beers and wines and offer a home-delivery service.

The first store is slated for Gig Harbor, Wash., which is outside Seattle. The company has not announced the store’s opening date, but says it will be soon.
