Kroger Names Food 4 Less President

Bryan Kaltenbach to take reins

The Kroger Co. (Cincinnati) has promoted Bryan Kaltenbach to president of its Food 4 Less Division. Kaltenbach has held several leadership positions in the company, most recently as senior vp, sales and marketing for Food 4 Less.

“Bryan brings extensive retail experience to his new position, and his leadership will be a tremendous asset to our team members and our Food 4 Less customers,” says Rodney McMullen, president and chief operating officer of Kroger.

Kaltenbach's career started at Alpha Beta Markets in California, which merged with Food 4 Less in 1991. The Food 4 Less division, based in Compton, Calif., operates 146 warehouse stores in California, Nevada, Illinois and Indiana.
