L'Eagle becomes first Cannabis Retail Shop to be certified by Certifiably Green Denver

DENVER—L’Eagle, a retail cannabis dispensary specializing in clean cannabis, has earned recognition as a Certified Green Business from the City and County of Denver Department of Environmental Health. L’Eagle Services is the first cannabis company to achieve the standards set forth in this rigorous environmental certification for retail operations.

Certifiably Green Denver (CGD) provides free, confidential non-regulatory environmental assistance to Denver's business community. The program helps businesses find opportunities to improve efficiency while minimizing environmental liability through pollution prevention. CGD recognizes businesses that demonstrate exemplary environmental achievement in five key areas: energy efficiency, water conservation, resource management, alternative transportation, and responsible business management.

Expanding the certification to cannabis retail stores recognizes the efforts of this new industry and promotes best practice standards for sustainability. CGD and L’Eagle Services have paved the way for other cannabis retail stores to achieve Certifiably Green certification.
