MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Italian shoemaker Bruno Magli S.p.A. has announced Patricia Malone will lead the company starting in August, Women’s Wear Daily reports. Malone, currently a retail consultant, previously served as U.S. president and coo of Christian Dior and spent many years at Gucci.

Schreder Lighting US (Addison, Ill.) has hired Daniel Horvath as a sales engineer. Horvath will coordinate engineering of lighting products and develop technical sales presentations and photometric databases in his new role.

Davaco Inc. (Dallas) promoted Tim Currier to vp of business development. Currier will foster business opportunities and partnerships in his new role.

STORE OPENINGS
Sprouts Farmers Market (Phoenix) plans to open a new store this August in Phoenix’s Ahwatukee Foothills neighborhood, according to the Arizona Republic. The company, which merged with Henry’s Farmers Market in 2011, plans to have 26 stores in Arizona by 2013.

Mulberry Group plc (Chilcompton, England) opened its first U.S. location outside the East coast with a new store in San Francisco, Women’s Wear Daily reports. The 3100-square-foot space is on Grant Avenue and formerly housed a Kenneth Cole location.

Just outside Salt Lake City, a new outlet mall is set to open in Lehi, Utah, this November. Dubbed “Outlets at Traverse Mountain,” the 225,000-square-foot venue will host 52 stores, including Calvin Klein, Izod, Polo Ralph Lauren and others, according to the Salt Lake City Tribune.
