Denver-based Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage is adding three stores in Arizona, starting with a new location in Flagstaff. Two additional stores are planned for Sedona and Prescott.

The regional natural grocery chain focuses on natural and organic products, and also offers free nutritional coaching, seminars and speakers.

The new Flagstaff store was retrofitted for use at the Flagstaff Armory building and houses a variety of energy-efficient features, including motion light sensors, 100 percent post-consumer content tiles, polished concrete flooring and commercial-grade LED lights.

The company operates 56 stores in 12 states.
