Nordstrom, others join Taubman’s expanded Twelve Oaks Mall

Taubman Centers Inc. (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) has announced 22 tenants – including Nordstrom – as part of the 97,000-square-foot expansion at Twelve Oaks Mall (Novi, Mich.) in September 2007.

The Nordstrom store, in a new wing of the mall, will be 165,000 square feet. Among the other tenants, Martin + Osa will make its Michigan debut. Apparel and accessory additions include Arden B, Lucky Brand Jeans, Coldwater Creek, For Love 21 (an accessories-only store from Forever 21), The Levi's Store, the Oakley O Store, lucy, Lush bath and body products, Hallmark, Florsheim, Skechers and Wild Pair.

There will also be A|X Armani Exchange, Clarks shoes, Tapper's Diamonds and Fine Jewelry and Puma.

Shops relocating to the new Nordstrom wing include Everything But Water; J.B. Robinson Jewelers, Papyrus and Select Comfort.

Besides the new wing, Macy's is expanding by 60,000 square feet. The construction began in early 2006 and the combined projects expand the mall from 1.2 to 1.5 million square feet.
