Nordstrom (Seattle) announced plans to close its store at Westfield Horton Plaza in San Diego.

The store, which opened in 1985, will close on August 26, according to a press release.

“These are always tough decisions to make,” says Jamie Nordstrom, president of stores for Nordstrom, in a statement, “but in taking a look at the store’s performance and our business needs into the future, we believe this is the best direction to take.”

The retailer currently has three other Nordstrom locations in the San Diego area, as well as four Nordstrom Rack stores.
