LUXURY BRAND LOUIS VUITTON (PARIS) recently opened its flagship, Maison Louis Vuitton Sanlitun, in Beijing’s Sanlitun district, designed by architect Jun Aoki.

Numerous aesthetic inspirations influenced the design of the luminous façade that sets the tone for the entire flagship: the blending of tradition and modernity, the sculptural shapes of the Taihu stone and the fluid design of a dress by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Women’s Spring-Summer 2016 collection.

Beyond the exterior, guests will find four floors, including Beijing’s first Café Louis Vuitton, overseen by Chef Leonardo Zambrino. The café, which features a terrace space for special events, is an extension of the brand’s aesthetic, creating a well-rounded experience for guests. The flagship also includes four private lounges for exclusive clientele.
