RadioShack, Sprint Co-Branded Stores

Sprint (Overland Park, Kan.) announced in a press release that the company will be integrating Sprint-branded spaces inside 1435 RadioShack (Fort Worth, Texas) stores to bring Sprint services and products directly to RadioShack customers.

The store-within-a-store model, which is being called “The Sprint Store at RadioShack,” is expected to be complete by the end of next week and includes completely renovating 300 RadioShack stores so the Sprint areas will feel distinctly separate as their own in-store boutiques.

In addition to these changes, General Wireless Operations Inc. (Anchorage, Alaska) also announced that it closed on a $26.2 million deal to purchase the RadioShack brand.
