Rally House (Lenexa, Kan.) has opened its first store in the Houston market, bringing its total number outlets in the Lone Star State to 27. (The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is home to 21 of those stores.) Rally House says its inaugural Houston store – in the Houston Outlets complex in the southeast suburb of Texas City – is the first of several it plans for the market.

That’s no surprise, given the region’s population of almost 7.7 million, which makes it the fifth-most-populous metro area in the U.S. Other Rally House stores coming soon to the market include one in the Willowbrook Plaza on the city’s north side and another in the southwest suburb of Missouri City, according to the store locator on the retailer’s website.

“It’s an exciting time to be a sports fan in Houston,” says VP of Marketing Strategy, Aaron Johnson. “From the rise of star QB CJ Stroud and the excitement around the Texans, to the Cougars second year in the Big 12 and college football right around the corner, Rally House Houston Outlets is going to be the go-to location in the area, year-round.”

The gear selection at Rally House Houston Outlets includes the Texans, Astros, Dynamo, Rockets, Cougars, Aggies and Longhorns. Stocked brands include Nike, ’47, Starter, New Era and Antigua.

Fast-growing Rally House operates 200-plus locations across 20 states. Rally House and Sampler Stores Inc. is a family-owned specialty boutique that offers apparel, hats, gifts and home décor representing local NCAA, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and MLS teams, in addition to locally inspired apparel, gifts and food.
