Sarah Jessica Parker to Move Flagship Boutique

It will reopen near the apartment where her Sex and the City character lived

Sarah Jessica Parker announced via Instagram that her namesake footwear boutique on 54th Street is moving further down the island of Manhattan.

The new location for the SJP brand’s flagship boutique will be in West Village on the corner of Bleecker and Perry streets. Fans of Sex and the City might recognize the latter of those thoroughfares – it’s the location of the iconic apartment in which Parker’s character, Carrie Bradshaw, lived.

A separate Instagram post from the SJP brand says the the 54th Street location will close on June 19 and the new location will reopen “very soon.”
