Sears Holdings, parent of the Sears and Kmart chains, is testing a home delivery grocery service in New York and the Hamptons area of Long Island, N.Y., according to Supermarket News.

Plans call for testing to begin in Chicago later this summer.

Through the service, groceries will be delivered from Kmart locations as part of an extension of MyGofer.com, a site that allows Sears and Kmart customers to order items online and pick them up at the store.
