Six in the City

Sephora parties with popular program premise for 34th Street opening

To celebrate its sixth New York store opening (slated for Thursday), Sephora will invite the ladies to try on a little of their favorite “Sex and the City” character. A highlight of the evening, entitled “Sephora and the City,” will be complementary makeovers that reflect the main characters from HBO's popular series. Guests can choose one of four styles: trendy yet feminine, like “Carrie;” classically beautiful like “Charlotte;” no-nonsense like “Miranda;” or a super-sexy style “Samantha” might wear.

The 10,300-square-foot, two-floor store in Herald Square is designed in Sephora's signature black and white palette, and houses more than 46 skin care lines, 3500 lipstick shades and 375 men's and women's fragrances.

Organizers don't rule out the possibility of one of the real gals stopping in for a “Flirtini,” either.
