Snack Attack

Looking for a way to attract franchisees and customers alike to its new prototype restaurant, Checkers Drive-In Restaurants (Tampa, Fla.) set up a restaurant display designed and manufactured by GFX Intl. Inc. (Grayslake, Ill.), at 48th Street and Sixth Avenue in New York. The 16-by-35-foot temporary space offered free fries, burgers and drinks for two days and made a brief appearance on “Fox & Friends” during a Burger Face Off.
