The Top 50 Fixture Manufacturers list is based on 2003 fixture sales given by companies that responded to our survey. It contains 57 names this year – companies that reported sales of $10 million or more.
The survey was sent to more than 1300 fixture manufacturers and suppliers, culled from the VM+SD Buyers' Guide and industry directories. All information was provided by the companies. A full, detailed listing of company information can be found in the VM+SD, June 2004 issue. Businesses that did not report sales were not considered for the Top 50 ranking, but are part of the comprehensive alphabetical listing that appears starting on page 60, from the VM+SD magazine, June 2004 issue. Though sales figures were used to gauge companies' rankings as fixture producers, VM+SD recognizes that market objectives are not always uniform and that size doesn't always determine a company's contribution to or impact on the industry. We also recognize that some large manufacturers did not respond to our survey.
