Tom Ford (New York) plans to have 104 stores by the end of the year, as part of an aggressive growth plan.

In addition to the designer’s wholesale accounts, 46 of the units will be freestanding, while 58 will be shops-in-shop, according to Women’s Wear Daily. Stores will open Dubai and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in March; Houston in September; and Miami and Atlanta later this year.

The company also plans to close some stores in China and open others in markets that better suit their brand. “A few of the stores were not as great as they should be. When we first entered Asia, we didn’t have the power that we do now,” Ford told WWD.

Ford is also expanding at Harrods, moving from the lower ground floor to the ground floor and adding an additional 500 square feet of retail space.
