Published

on

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (Bentonville, Ark.) and PRN Corp. (San Francisco) will host a presentation next week “showing how an integrated communications program can enhance the brand building strategy of leading and emerging advertisers in today’s retail and advertising landscape.”

PRN (Premier Retail Networks) is the provider for Wal-Mart’s custom in-store television programming. It’s a wholly owned subsidiary of Thomson Corp. (Boulogne-Billancourt, France).

The 2006 Upfront presentation, on September 21 in Bentonville, will feature executives from Wal-Mart, walmart.com and PRN, and industry experts such as Renetta McCann, ceo of Starcom MediaVest Group (Chicago), a media planning and buying agency. Advertisers and their agencies will have the opportunity to preview new media systems and enhancements, significant third-party research results and new programming options.
