Veronica Beard Opens First Store

Makes its debut on New York’s Madison Avenue

American contemporary label Veronica Beard (New York) has opened its first freestanding store in New York on Madison Avenue. The location formerly held a Lisa Perry store.

“This is our moment to actually be in 3-D,” designer Veronica Swanson Beard told Women’s Wear Daily. “As much as you try on the website – our content is creative; it’s new, and the imagery is all originally produced – there’s nothing like walking in a store.”

With the launch of the store, the label will also debut a hat collection and a “flair bar,” where customers can select their own hat embellishment such as feathers and ribbons.

Veronica Beard apparel, including its signature dickey jacket, is also carried in 250 retailers, including 36 Neiman Marcus stores.
