FIRST PLACE – NON-HOLIDAY WINDOW DISPLAY: APPAREL
Urban Oasis
Hudson's Bay Co.,
Toronto

Pucci mannequins dressed in spring's brightest and most colorful fashions made a statement in The Bay's “Urban Oasis” window display.

Black-and-white photography of fast-paced urban life was shot around Toronto and blown up into backdrops for the windows. To add dimension to each scene, card standups of models in business suits were created from black-and-white images.

Standing out in this crowd, almost as a breath of fresh air, were mannequins in the season's finest trends, perched atop colored butterfly covered platforms.

Judges applauded the story-telling, saying, “Fashion is the calming element here.”
