Gucci (Florence, Italy) will open a flagship store in Miami, Fla.’s up-and-coming Design District in 2017.

The luxury retailer joins Hermès (Paris), Fendi (Rome), Christian Dior (Paris) and Louis Vuitton (Paris), which already have flagships in the Design District, reports Women’s Wear Daily. The retail space will be at least 7000 square feet.

“Gucci has always represented great design and contemporary lifestyle. We want to be where collectors, style influencers and cultural creatives come together, and in Miami, that’s the Design District,” says Gucci President and CEO Marco Bizzarri.
