After failing to find a buyer for the majority of its shops, clothier Austin Reed (London) will close all 120 stores by the end of the month, according to Digital Look.

The closings will result in the loss of 1000 jobs and the end of the company’s 100-year presence on Britain’s high streets.

The company, whose suits have been worn by Winston Churchill, The Beatles and Christine Lagarde, is no longer accepting new orders through its website.
