Locations set for Toronto, New York

Canada Goose (Toronto) will be opening its first two Canada Goose branded stores this fall. Until now, the company’s merchandise has been available online or through third-party retailers.

The company plans to open a 4500-square-foot store in Toronto’s Yorkdale Shopping Centre in October. In November, it will open a 4000-square-foot store in New York’s SoHo neighborhood. Both stores will incorporate Arctic imagery and photographs and stories about some of the brand’s sponsored adventurers. Displays will take advantage of the brand’s archives to show how products have evolved since the company was founded in 1957. The stores will also sell a selection of unworn, vintage gear that are exclusively sold within the stores.

The brick-and-mortar stores are planned to be marketing investments for the brand, reports The Globe and Mail
