In-store, stylized boutiques curated by Olivia Kim

Nordstrom (Seattle) has launched a new in-store concept called Space in select flagships. Featured inside the Nordstrom Collectors department alongside other designer collections, the shop features specially-selected apparel, shoes, handbags and accessories styled together so customers have access to “a full wardrobe in one small environment,” reports a press release.

The boutique features emerging designers and is being curated by the retailer’s Director of Creative Projects Olivia Kim, who has been tasked with creating unique and memorable customer experiences.

Space has been designed to stand out from the rest of the store with eye-catching elements such as pink mannequins, wavy neon mirrors, woven rubber benches and chairs, petrified stone risers and other one-of-a-kind furnishings and art objects.

Space has been launched online, in its Seattle flagship and in its San Francisco and Chicago stores. A fourth location will be available when Nordstrom’s Vancouver location at Pacific Centre opens next month.
