Ikea to Expand in France

Sets sights on Paris

Ikea (Leiden, Netherlands) announced this week that by 2017, it plans to open seven new stores and renovate two of its existing outlets in France, creating 1300 jobs.

The furniture retailer is also considering opening a shop in central Paris and setting up pick-up points for the collection of goods ordered online to respond to changing shopping habits, reports Reuters.
