Quiznos Heads to Mexico

Plans to open more than 150 restaurants throughout the country

Quiznos, the Denver-based quick service restaurant sandwich chain, is expanding into Mexico through a partnership with Mexico City-based Quizmex.

Plans call for more than 150 restaurants in the next 10 years, including five in Mexico City in 2013. In recent years, the chain has entered new markets in the Philippines, India and Brazil. Quiznos will open its first Russian location in March 2013, and plans to have more than 1000 international locations in more than 40 countries by 2020.
