Toronto-based Holt Renfrew is adding a new concept to Canada’s retail landscape in 2013 called hr2.
The first store will open in March in Montreal’s Quartier DIX30 shopping center in a 30,000-square-foot space, followed by a second location in Ontario, Women’s Wear Daily reports.

The company plans to roll out hr2 stores across the country but did not specify how many, according to the WWD article. The concept will carry a different assortment of merchandise than its luxury department stores, including lower-priced or secondary labels from many of the same designers and brands that supply Holt Renfrew with its top-priced lines.
