Think Fall, a Season of Intrigue

Marshall Field's launched its “Think Fall” campaign in 58 stores – the first time the retailer had done such an extensive rollout of a storewide promotions package, which included in-store graphics and marketing materials.

Damask pattern, chandeliers, candelabra and Philippe Starck ghost chairs were key visual elements to the package, designed to take something old and make it feel new again.

As such, judges appreciated the dominant eggplant color palette that offered a new twist on fall. At the State Street store, a 39-foot central hanging mobile was created using 9-foot wide oversized chandeliers and 56 damask-inspired pennants hanging from five stories above.
