Jewelers Market

Bling it On

Located amidst a street bazaar environment in Aventura, Fla., the new Jewelers Market needed a sleek, sophisticated and upscale ambience to stand out on the busy boulevard.

Pavlik Design Team (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) set out to create a memorable and value-focused jewelry market by using contemporary architecture and warm, rich materials.

The soaring double-height space features a sleek and contemporary “street of shops” concept. Undulating showcases in rich dark woods and metal create boulevards and plazas that are easy in which to shop and circulate.

Geometric-patterned carpeting in sable and limestone tile are used to define traffic and specialty areas within the space.

An exposed industrial ceiling and an open halogen lighting grid balance the store's sleek design. This high ceiling is defined by large floating elliptical rings in sable fabric and translucent metal sheers. In addition, these rings are complemented by curved, sweeping ceiling planes that bring lower scale to the perimeter “streets.”

The storefront features tall windows that provide a clear and dramatic view into the space and a vintage black and white billboard graphic that draws attention to the façade.
