Christopher & Banks Corp. (Plymouth, Minn.) a specialty apparel retailer with more than 380 stores, has announced that — in a management reorganization — Tammy Boyd, president of its C.J. Banks division, has left the company.

Jules Rouse, previously merchandise manager for several department in the Christopher & Banks division, has been named vp and gmm of C.J. Banks, a newly created position. Under the new structure, all C.J. Banks buying and merchandising functions will report to her.

Ralph Neal, who is executive vp of Christopher & Banks in charge of store operations, will assume responsibility for store operations of C.J. Banks as well.

The retailer, which operates almost entirely in malls and mostly in the 31 northern-most states, currently carries the nameplates Christopher & Banks, Braun's and C.J. Banks. It opened 80 new stores in 2001 and is under a plan to open 100 more by 2004; 30 of those new stores will be C.J. Banks. It has been converting its Braun's stores to the Christopher & Banks name and plans to be finished with that conversion by 2003.
