Apple Computer Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.) will open its newest retail outlet tomorrow (Friday, June 26, 2002) at The Grove in Los Angeles.

It will be the computer-maker's 32nd location in just 14 months of operating its own retail chain. Last week, it opened its first New York City store, in SoHo.

The Grove is next to The Farmer's Market (near the corner of Third Street and Fairfax Avenue).

Michael Fisher, who as Apple's director of visual merchandising has played a major role in the expansion of the retail operation, will be a featured panelist at VM+SD's International Retail Design Conference, Sept. 18 – 20, 2002, in Pasadena, Calif. For information or to register, go to www.irdconline.com. or call Laurie Miller at ST Media Group International (800-925-1110, ext. 334).
