Time Warner Media Break

Warner Bros. Studio Store, New York City

The new Time Warner Media Break is anything but a break from media. This interactive retail venue, situated on the fifth floor of Warner Bros.’ Flagship Fifth Avenue store in New York City, immerses customers in Time Warner’s massive media mix.

Cutting-edge technology showcases the range of products. For example, flat-screen TVs show live news coverage from CNN news; listening domes allow customers to sample tracks from 700 Warner Brother music titles; and Internet stations give on-line access to Time Warner’s subsidiaries.

Elsewhere, a children’s area features fun, oversized television sets in bright colors that show Warner Bros. cartoons and TV shows. Bean bag chairs on a checker-patterned carpet let kids watch in comfort and style. Here, a selection of kids’ books, interactive titles, movies and music listening stations also keep little ones occupied. And for adults, a newsstand showcasing various Time Warner magazines and books is adjacent to a Starbucks. So while perusing the latest copy of People, customers can lounge and sip cappuccino.
