Omnipoint’s Madison Avenue flagship store — one of three opened in the Big Apple — evokes the spare elegance of a modern gallery. Designed by Mahar Adjmi Partners, New York City, the store is marked by clean lines, wooden walls and fixturing and a spaciousness that seems to communicate the clarity of cellular communication. Omnipoint intends to open five more stores and 10 kiosks in 1998.
