Shawmut Design and Construction Hosts Annual Broken Resolutions Event

Shawmut welcomed 250 high-end designers and retail, hospitality, and academic executives

NEW YORK (January 28, 2015) – Shawmut Design and Construction, a $968 million national construction management firm, hosted its third annual Broken Resolutions party at its East 54th Street office. Over 250 of the firm’s retail, hospitality and academic clients and partners were invited to celebrate the New Year and Shawmut’s newly renovated office space.

Executives from Valentino, Saint Laurent, Chanel, Tiffany & Co., Le Bernardin, Prada, InterContinental Hotels Group, Riverdale Country School, Share Our Strength, and Van Wagner joined Shawmut at the annual celebration. Partygoers enjoyed building competitions with a giant Jenga game.

In 2014, Shawmut’s New York office worked on the firm’s largest project to date, a $175 million project for InterContinental New York Barclay, and hired 38 new team members. The office has $300 million projected for 2015 and projects booked with Hublot, Madison Square Garden, Teacher’s College, InterContinental New York Barclay, Tourneau, Burberry, and Porchlight.
