Tyler Haney, CEO and Founder of activewear brand Outdoor Voices (Austin, Texas), is reportedly stepping down.

Haney’s departure from her position follows  an unreported capital injection from the brand’s investors at a lower valuation than preceding rounds, reports Tech Crunch. They also report that the company unsuccessfully attempted to raise new funding late in 2019.Cliff Moskowitz of private equity firm InterLuxe (Charlotte, N.C.) will serve as interim CEO until the company’s board of directors chooses a replacement.

Outdoor Voices has raised $64 million worth of funding since its start in 2014, says Tech Crunch, but it is speculated that competition with long-established athletic brands such as Nike and Adidas may have caused its success to fall short.
