Gap Inc. (San Francisco) has named Teri List-Stoll as the company’s new evp and cfo. She will assume those roles effective Jan. 17 and will succeed Sabrina Simmons, who recently announced her departure from the company. Simmons will provide an advisory role through the end of the fiscal year once List-Stoll comes on board.

List-Stoll will report to the company’s ceo, Art Peck, and will serve on the company’s senior leadership team, reports Women’s Wear Daily. She will oversee the company’s global finance function, its loss-prevention efforts and corporate administration.

She most recently was evp and cfo for Dick’s Sporting Goods (Coraopolis, Pa.) and has also worked for Kraft Foods Group (Northfield, Ill.) and The Procter & Gamble Co. (Cincinnati).
