Foxtrot (Chicago), the high-end convenience/corner store concept, is planning to open 50 stores throughout the U.S. during the next two years, reports Supermarket News. It plans to open locations in regions like Houston, Miami, Boston, Los Angeles, New York and Austin, Texas; it already has locations in Washington, D.C., Dallas and Chicago.

The new stores are reportedly double the size of its current locations and will feature new merchandising and on-site dining.

According to Supermarket News, Mike LaVitola, Co-Founder and CEO, Foxtrot, said, “We first introduced ourselves to customers through online only, rapid-delivery of our dream convenience store. In the years since, we’ve realized the pivotal role the physical shops play within neighborhoods. There’s no better way to spark discovery than by browsing shelves, and no better platform to elevate local makers than giving them a home in the neighborhood.”

Originally founded in 2014, the concept is well-known for its app-based purchase model, 30-minute delivery and 5-minute pick-up options for customers.
