Calvin Klein Appoints Chief Creative Officer

Calvin Klein (New York) has appointed Raf Simons to the position of chief creative officer for the company, according to a press statement.

In his role, Simons will oversee visual creative services, design, and global marketing and communications. He will also lead the creative strategy for several facets of the brand, including Calvin Klein Collection, Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear, among several others.

The retailer has also hired Pieter Mulier as its new creative director, who will report directly to Simons. He will responsible for implementing Simons’ design vision for women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections and will also manage all the men’s and women’s design teams within the brand.
