Harrods Promotes Chief Merchant

Helen David moves up from fashion director position

Harrods (London) has promoted Helen David as the department store’s new chief merchant.

Previously a banker, David started at Harrods as a buyer in 2008 after positions with Net-a-porter.com and Saks Fifth Avenue (New York), reports Women’s Wear Daily.

Most recently she was the fashion director of women’s wear, accessories, fine jewelry and children’s wear at Harrods.
