Anthropologie Plans Edinburgh Store

7000-square-foot location to debut next summer

Fashion giant Anthropologie (Philadelphia) plans another European store, this one in Edinburgh, Scotland. The retailer’s other two European stores are in London, on Regent Street and King’s Road. The newest location, a three-story location on George Street, is expected to open in summer 2011.

Sister company Urban Outfitters opened its first Edinburgh store on Princes Street last year. Anthropologie, which was founded in 1992, operates 135 stores across the U.S.
