(PRESS RELEASE) Designed in collaboration with Daniel Stromborg, product development design director at Gensler, Mixu comes in just three components: a base, a seat, and a backrest; each individual part of the chair and can be mixed and matched in a range of different colors and materials including wood, metal, post-industrial recycled plastic, leather, and fabric upholstery to fit a range of home settings — a dining chair, a side chair for the living room, a task chair for the home office — the application possibility is endless. Designed with sustainability in mind, Mixu is made of durable woods and high-quality recycled plastics and metals to minimize resource extraction and carbon footprint; it is also materialized sans glue for easy disassembly and recycle.
