Today, Montreal-based Artitalia Group Inc., a socially committed organization and a socially responsible corporate citizen announced their plans to help support those at the front lines of this seemingly invisible war by donating over 40,000 sets of newly procured medical supplies which include face shields, KN95 masks, and latex gloves to the Jewish General Hospital, Santa Cabrini Hospital, Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, Pierre Le Gardeur Hospital, and lastly the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Artitalia Group will also be donating an additional 26 000 sets of medical supplies to hospitals in the Italian region of Campania.

“As a family business and as a socially responsible community organization it is important that we come together as leaders in our community and unite with purpose to help decrease the spread of this pandemic, for our associates, our partners, and more importantly, for our community, who are working relentlessly to ensure our safety,” said Tony Vardaro, President, Artitalia Group.

Over the last few weeks, Artitalia Group Inc. has been very active in ensuring that they do their part to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic through design initiatives that include protective safety shields, checkout lane hygiene shields, barriers, material handling and specialty carts for processing, mail boxes and parcel lockers, and foot door handles, all designed with the intention to protect our clients and the community at large.

“During these difficult times, we want our associates, vendor partners, client partners, and our entire community, both locally and internationally, to know that we are constantly thinking about them during these difficult times and doing what’s best for everyone in our community. We have diverted our manufacturing capabilities to produce these custom products for our partners. We understand their concerns and we are continuously supporting our partners to ensure their health and safety,” said Senior Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer, Enzo Vardaro.

Artitalia Group Inc. has been working with federal and provincial health authorities and governments to ensure a safe work environment during this time. They have implemented health and safety measures that include social distancing, increased sanitation measures, and reduced number of entrances to ensure the health and safety of employees.

Moreover, Artitalia Group Inc. has also created care packages that include one face shield, one KN95 mask, and two pairs of latex gloves for their associates and their families as well as for their client partners as they are fully committed to ensuring that members of their extended family are safe.
