Rollout of Microsoft’s new retail merchandising program continues, with the latest installation at CompUSA’s store in Concord, Calif. Designed to encourage curiosity and interactivity, the shop simplifies software shopping by offering access to Microsoft’s full product line and its features. Curved, ceiling-suspended graphic panels reinforce Microsoft’s tagline “Where would you like to go today?” while defining department boundaries. Mobile, light wood and stainless steel fixtures allow easy configuration changes and product mixing. Interactive kiosks and coordinating screen graphics are also part of the program.
