Announces additional in-house promotions

The Container Store (Coppell, Texas) announced a number of changes and promotions to its executive team, including naming its next ceo.

Melissa Reiff, who is the company’s current president and coo, will become ceo July 1. Reiff has been with the company since 1995 when she was hired as vp of sales and marketing.

In addition, Sharon Tindell will assume title of president at the same time, in addition to her current role as chief merchandising officer. Tindell has been with the company since it was founded in 1978 and was “the visionary behind [its] product mix,” reports a press release.

In addition, Jodi Taylor will add the role of chief administrative officer to her current role as cfo, also effective July 1. She has been with the company since 2007.

Additional promotions included naming Melissa Collins as chief marketing officer and a number of evp promotions throughout the company.
